Wishing my commenters and lurkers a happy upcoming year!

boomSLANG: Hi, you have navigated into "Boomslang's Lair". I'm your host, Boomslang, and this is my little corner of the internet where I can speak my mind when and how I wish. As you'll soon find out, this blog is mostly dedicated to debunking various religious/supernatural claims with special attention to the claims of Christianity. That being said, a great deal of my upbringing was influenced by Christian fundamentalist grandparents. In other words, I was indoctrinated(brainwashed) at a very young age to believe that Christianity was the absolute "Truth". Despite having honest doubts as young as 9 years old, I remained a believer for 2/3rds of my life. I have since deconverted because I could no longer ignore the cognitive dissonance.
